Back in university, I was studying computer engineering and trying to make some money during the holidays. In 2023, a few friends introduced me to the real estate rental business. I decided to try it out just a small side hustle. I had no idea it was going to change everything for me.

Working as a rental agent was an eye-opener. Imagine showing up to a house with an excited client, only to discover it was already rented. Or dealing with listings so inaccurate that every visit felt like guessing. It was frustrating for us agents, and even more for the clients who trusted us.

One day, my coursemate and fellow agent, Tanwie Bruno, came to me with a simple but powerful idea: "Why don't we build a property management platform that gives landlords full control of their properties, and gives us agents real, accurate, up-to-date information?"

That idea made perfect sense. We were computer engineering students who were living these problems every day. So we got to work. We weren't just building software we were fixing the real issues we personally dealt with. And that's how TenantSphere was born: from real frustration, real experience, and a real desire to make things better.

Today, what started as a solution to our own everyday struggles has grown into a tool that helps landlords and agents across the industry. And we're still improving it, guided by real stories and real feedback from people who know the challenges because just like us, they've lived them.
